The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is home to the beautiful and luxurious city of Dubai-- home to world-famous tourist attractions, and exemplary in its luxury, renowned architecture, and modernity.
If you've seen the Netflix series, Dubai Bling, and were astounded at the wealth of Zeina, Safa, and other celebrities on Dubai Bling, get used to it. The annual GDP in dubai is $116.779 billion. So owning 50 birkins, each costing around $10,000 to 1.4 million, is pretty much standard for the people living in Dubai. While many famous businessmen and women work in these buildings, such as the famous Burj Khalifa, you can actually stay in its hotel for the low cost of $2,800! The Burj Khalifa, finished in 2010, was a $1.5 billion project funded primarily by Emaar Properties. This building is the tallest building in the world ,reaching a height of 2,716 ft. This magnificent building took 6 years to complete and is such a great example of humanity’s finest and most impressive architecture, just like the manmade island called Palm Jumeirah.

This Island, often referred to as the 8th wonder of the world, was built by Nakheel, a real estate company in order to expand Dubai’s coastline. You can travel there and stay in a variety of hotels for $100 a day, and go yachting and enjoy the beach. You can also visit the famous Atlantis resort and go shopping at the Nakheel Mall. Many people travel here in order to visit its luxury hotels, but this island also serves as a magnificent feat of human design, way ahead of its time.

Another insane location and must-see on your bucket list when traveling to Dubai is the Dubai Mall. It is located in the heart of the city and showcases a aquarium, zoo, and ice skating rink. It has 120 restaurants and more than 1200 department stores including Galeries Lafayette, Cartier, Jimmy Choo, so save all of your shopping for the Dubai Mall. The Dubai Mall also has the world's largest candy store!
All this blogging is making me hungry! Let’s talk about the #1 restaurant in all of Dubai: Il Ristorante-Niko Romito, an Italian restaurant on Palm Jumeirah in the Bulgari Resort, with 2 Michelin stars! While Dubai cuisine is very diverse, the dishes true to Dubai is food of Emirati origin, including some famous dishes like Harees and Majboos. These dishes entail chicken or another type of meat paired with a grain, like wheat or spiced rice. A famous desert often found in Dubai is Luqaimat, fried golden sweet pastries. And finally, to top it all off, you can end your meal with a big piece of Dubai Chocolate, which I’m sure most of you have heard of. Founded by Dubai's own Sarah Hamouda, Dubai Chocolate is just like regular chocolate, but it's filled with yummy pistachio kunafa. Just looking at pictures of it's food should be enough convincing to book your own vacation to Dubai! Yalla habibi!
